Sponsorship Sales Manager
to lead sponsorship sales for a portfolio of high-impact business conferences, they cover a range of industries focused on sustainability, such as Apparel, Packaging, Food, Agri and Energy Transition. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of B2B sponsorship sales experience to take ownership of a growing event portfolio and build strategic partnerships with senior decision-makers. In this role, you’ll tailor sponsorship packages and annual partnerships that amplify climate commitments, connect industry leaders, and drive tangible progress on urgent sustainability challenges. The Role Drive sponsorship sales : Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing high-value deals. New business development : Build and grow a new client base, focusing on strategic outreach and relationship-building. Account management : Collaborate with operations, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless sponsor experience and successful event delivery. Engage senior stakeholders : Use a consultative approach to develop trusted relationships with sustainability, energy, and supply chain leaders. Analyse market trends : Provide insights to inform business strategy based on market dynamics, customer needs, and competitor activity. Pipeline reporting : Use CRM tools (Salesforce) to manage pipelines, forecast revenue, and report performance to leadership. Cross-selling : Identify opportunities to pitch sponsorship across multiple conferences and services, including publishing and stakeholder engagement. Ideal Candidate 3–5 years of B2B sponsorship or solution sales experience, ideally within conferences, media, or sustainability sectors. A consultative and strategic approach to sales, with confidence in negotiating and closing deals. A self-motivated, results-oriented mindset: commercially minded, proactive, and organised. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and pitch effectively.
