Cedar Grove Veterinary Clinic are recruiting to join our front of house team as a Reception & Customer Service Administrator. Your main responsibility is to provide the highest level of Customer Service to both potential and existing clients, as well as all other visitors to the practice. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, this role includes essential administrative support for business operations, diary management and client services, and assisting the Management Team with sales, marketing, and social media efforts. In a busy and varied front-of-house role, the successful applicant must demonstrate outstanding customer care skills, reliability, an aptitude for organisation and multitasking, as well as excellent communication and presentation abilities.
This role will be extremely varied and busy on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate will have previous receptionist or customer facing experience, as well as a love for animals, although no prior animal care experience is required. This position will best suit an initiative-taking, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and exceptional communication skills. You will be able to multitask, remain calm under pressure and prioritise your workload whilst maintaining a friendly and welcoming disposition. Previous veterinary receptionist experience is desirable but not essential.
The role requires working 40 hours per week, including evenings and one weekend in five on a shared rota basis. (weekend rota is Saturday and Sunday morning)
