We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to join our team at HMP Maidstone, a CATEGORY C & Adult Male prison. Join a supportive team working Monday to Friday, dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Team Environment
You will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all committed to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.
Role Responsibilities
* Perform electrical maintenance and repairs in accordance with safety standards.
* Assist in planned and preventive maintenance operations.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate in BS7671:2018 (18th edition).
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrotechnical Services (City & Guilds/EAL), including NVQs and competency assessments (AM2/AM2S), e.g., 2367 or 2357.
* At least two years' experience as a fully qualified electrician.
* Experience with commercial or industrial electrical systems.
* Good knowledge of planned and preventive maintenance.
* Strong health and safety awareness.
* Excellent organizational and people skills.
