Are you a creative, ambitious chef who wants full autonomy in the kitchen? If so, we want you to join our small but rapidly growing contract catering company based in North Cambridge.
The Role:
As our Chef Manager, you’ll be the heart and driving force of the café, responsible for:
1. Menu planning and development, creating innovative, seasonal menus
2. Delivering freshly prepared breakfast and lunch, alongside exciting seasonal grab-and-go options
3. Staff management and training, including leading and developing a barista
4. Designing and delivering bespoke menus for after-hours events and hospitality
5. Acting as the face of the café through a client-facing role, building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
6. Overseeing financial administration, including cost control and margins
7. Ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
8. Inventory management, ordering, stock control and reducing waste
9. Supporting marketing and promotion, helping grow the café’s profile and footfall
10. Running the café like your own little business, with full autonomy

Who You Are:
16. A passionate chef with experience in menu planning and kitchen management
17. Excited by fresh, seasonal food and grab-and-go concepts
18. Confident and personable, comfortable in a client-facing environment
19. Strong on people management, organisation, and financial awareness
20. Ambitious, creative, and keen to grow with a fast-moving business
