Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Mainstream Secondary School – Rawtenstall
Contract: February Half-Term 2026 – July 2026
Are you passionate about supporting young people to achieve their best? We are seeking a dedicated full-time Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team from after February half-term 2026 until July 2026.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide in-class support, help create an inclusive learning environment, and assist students in accessing the curriculum. You’ll play a key role in encouraging positive learning behaviours and supporting pupils of varying abilities across Key Stages 3 and 4.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with secondary-age students (school-based experience preferred)
A caring, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to helping all learners succeed
Reliability and a positive attitude
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
