This role is for 15 hours a week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 training days)
Are you enthusiastic, reliable, and enjoy working as part of a team? We are looking for a General Catering Assistant to join our friendly school catering team at Marshland Primary Academy.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment, takes pride in providing healthy and nutritious meals, and wants to be part of a supportive school community.
About the Role
As a General Catering Assistant you will help prepare and serve meals to our pupils, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service. You'll play a key part in creating a positive lunchtime experience for our children.
Key Duties
* Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals
* Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
* Washing up and clearing away after service
* Complying with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
* Supporting the cook and other team members as required

* Experience in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable (training will be provided)
