Community Integrated Care is currently recruiting for a Part-Time Waking Nights Support Worker in Leeds, offering an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

Waking Nights Support Worker required – 2 x Nights per week (20 Hours)

Who will you be supporting?

* We are different in lots of ways (That’s what makes us so interesting) with our ages ranging between 37 and 66 years old.
* We all have individual needs, including mobility issues, non-verbal communication, and require personal cares, only one of us being independent.
* We all have different challenges in our lives which include autism, learning disabilities, dysphagia, and communication difficulties.
* We have a staff team who are all trained and familiar with supporting us with our needs.

What is important to us?

* We are all proud of the house we live in and how homely it is with all our bedrooms individual and personalised to us.
* We enjoy going for days out, meals out, concerts and going to the theatre. We enjoy listening to music and one of us is in a band and has a drum kit and karaoke in our bedroom and also is a DJ
* One of us go to a day centre 4 times a week, one of us attend purple patch once a week and one of us attends college four times a week and a music hub on a Monday. In the summer months we like to spend time in the garden.
* One of our aspirations is to carrying on making albums with the band and maybe become famous one day, with bigger gigs including festivals. We also aspire to stay healthy and safe in our own home.
* We like to go shopping in our village and one of us likes to go to the train station and watch the trains or take a ride.

Other information?

* Our maximum staffing levels are four staff in the morning and afternoon, one waking night and one sleep in. Our minimum staffing levels would be two staff in the morning and afternoon, one waking night and a sleep in.
* Are shifts vary depending on our activities but our usual shifts are 7-2, 2-9, 2-10 sleep and 9-5
* We need you to enjoy the same activities that we enjoy doing on a day-to-day basis. You should be caring, friendly and empathetic. We will train you in all mandatory training as well as any specialised training needed in our house.
