Senior Physiotherapist - MSK/Orthopaedics Sarum Road Hospital 37.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £44,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) Sarum Road Hospital in Winchester is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Senior Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department. This is a fulltime role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Lead the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with complex conditions within your specialist area (e.g. MSK, neuro, orthopaedics, respiratory). Use advanced clinical reasoning to develop and adjust treatment plans that align with patient goals and evidence-based practice. Provide formal supervision, mentoring, and training to Band 5/Level 1 physiotherapists, assistants, and students. Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pathways, protocols, and outcome measures within your area. Ensure all care is delivered in line with regulatory, professional, and organisational standards (e.g. HCPC, CSP, CQC). Build strong therapeutic relationships with patients and carers to promote engagement, education, and self-management. Applicants should meet the following criteria: HCPC-registered Physiotherapist. Extensive post-registration experience including complex caseload management and a defined clinical specialty. Strong leadership, mentorship, and organisational skills. Evidence of audit, service development, or quality improvement contributions. Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team working ability.
