About the role
As an Optometrist at Specsavers in Elgin, you will be the go‑to professional for eye examinations and contact lens services, helping to keep the community seeing 20/20. You will work with the store team to deliver high‑standard clinical care and customer service, meeting both patient needs and business objectives while fostering a warm and friendly environment for customers and staff.

Specsavers Elgin is a network store located on the high street, recently refitted and equipped with seven test rooms and the latest technology. The supportive team environment values professional development for all staff.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide contact lens fittings.
* Deliver urgent care, co‑prescribing, foreign body removal, and treatment for infectious and autoimmune conditions.
* Serve patients with excellent customer service while meeting business objectives.
* Collaborate with retail and clinical teams to create a friendly, efficient environment.
Qualifications
* Registered member of the General Optical Council (GOC) with records kept up to date.
* Passion for delivering superior patient care and a strong commitment to customer service.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and adapt to varying working patterns.

* Salary up to £70,000 per annum, based on experience.
