Salary: £39,894.46 - £53,192.62 Closing Date: Thursday 12th February 2026 Purpose of the Role: The Quality Assurance Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the Capability team within Projects and Programmes by gathering, analysing, and reporting on assurance data. This role primarily involves administrative support, data collection, and coordination of assurance activities, working closely with the Principal Portfolio Assurance Manager and the Quality team. The Quality Assurance Analyst ensures that the right data is available for deeper analysis by more technical assurance staff, contributes to report writing, and facilitates reviews across projects and programmes. The role will support the delivery of our programmes & projects, and other change initiatives across the business, ensuring that quality and assurance considerations are effectively built into and adopted by our delivery practices, whilst contributing to process improvement, and supporting the overall success across the portfolio of projects and programmes. Accountabilities: Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and consolidate data from various projects, programmes, and portfolio activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform initial data analysis to identify trends, risks, and key insights, providing summaries and recommendations for further review by the Quality team. Maintain and update databases, records, and dashboards related to quality assurance, project performance, and compliance. Assurance Coordination: Support the scheduling, coordination, and facilitation of assurance reviews, including Quality reviews, gate reviews, quality assessments, and compliance checks. Liaise with project teams and other stakeholders to ensure that all necessary data and documents are available for assurance activities. Assist in the preparation of assurance review meetings, including agenda setting, documentation, and minutes. Reporting and Documentation: Draft and compile assurance reports based on the data collected, providing key insights and recommendations for further analysis by senior colleagues. Support the development and maintenance of assurance templates, tools, and documentation to ensure consistency and alignment with best practices. Track and document the outcomes of assurance reviews, following up on action items and ensuring their prompt completion. Support for Senior Assurance Staff: Provide administrative and analytical support to the Principal Portfolio Assurance Manager and Quality team. Assist in tracking project performance and compliance with relevant quality standards and methodologies, reporting deviations and risks. Participate in the continuous improvement of assurance processes and frameworks by contributing feedback based on collected data and analysis. Facilitation of Reviews: Facilitate reviews, lessons learned sessions, and quality workshops, ensuring that discussions are documented, and actions are followed up. Coordinate communication between different stakeholders, ensuring that all necessary information is shared for assurance purposes. Monitor progress of key deliverables and milestones, ensuring alignment with project and programme timelines. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective working relationships with project managers, PMO teams, and other stakeholders across the portfolio. Act as a point of contact for Quality assurance-related queries, ensuring that stakeholders are well-informed about upcoming reviews and data requirements. Assist in communicating Quality assurance findings to relevant stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise messaging in all reports and presentations. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for the Capability function, including meeting coordination, preparation of reports, and managing document libraries. Track and organise quality and assurance documentation, ensuring it is up to date and accessible to the team. Aid with resource scheduling for Quality assurance activities, ensuring that the necessary personnel and tools are available. Qualifications, professional knowledge and Skills: Essential Qualifications and Experience: Strong experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting, ideally within a project, programme, or portfolio management environment. Familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks, though technical expertise is not needed. Ability in Microsoft Office, particularly Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in report writing and facilitating meetings. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and engage with stakeholders at various levels of the organization. Desirable Qualifications and Experience: A degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Experience working within a PMO or project management environment. Knowledge of quality assurance principles and methodologies. Basic understanding of data visualisation tools or techniques. Competencies: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyse data, identify key insights, and present findings clearly. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective facilitation skills, with the ability to coordinate meetings and ensure productive discussions. Proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on delivering high-quality support and outputs.
