EF Bournemouth International Language Campus is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Activities & Events Team as Activity Leaders.
In this role, you will lead activities, events and excursions, while creating an unforgettable experience for our international students.
Every day is different, from city tours to themed parties and interactive activities. This is a great opportunity to develop leadership skills in a fun and multicultural environment.
Position Details:
1. Flexible zero hour contract, with potential for 15-30 hours p/week
2. Additional hours available contingent on performance & availability
3. Hours available 7 days a week

Responsibilities
5. Assists students with Activities queries and providing additional information as required
6. Creates a lively atmosphere during activities & excursions, delivering excellent service
7. Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy
8. Leads a guided tour for one hour in the excursion destination including interesting information (information provided by EF)
9. Accompanies customers to the attraction in the destination
10. Takes responsibility for safeguarding any under 18 students in the group during the trip in line with EF policy
11. Assists customers where necessary
12. Assists with the promotion of school events and excursions, creating, designing or putting up posters, etc.
13. Compiles a complete handover for the Activity Manager to maintain seamless service between in regards to excursions
14. Ensures that the manager is made aware of any emergency situations arising
15. Attends activity meetings as and when required and actions any points raised by the manager
Requirements
16. Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable, outgoing personality
17. Confident in leading and managing groups of students
18. Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised
19. Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure
20. Customer service minded and quality oriented
21. Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences.
22. Excellent communicator both with students, colleagues, and external clients
23. A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential
24. Fluency in English
25. All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
26. Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
