Job Title: Sous Chef
My client is looking for a Sous Chef to expand their current Kitchen Team at a busy Hotel on the outskirts of Plymouth City Centre.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus.
* Produce high-quality plates in both design and taste.
* Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently to meet quality standards.
* Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
* Resourcefully solve issues and manage problematic situations.
* Manage and train kitchen staff, establish work schedules, and assess performance.
* Order supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
* Comply with sanitation regulations and safety standards.
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering an annual salary of £28,000, plus a share of tips, based on a 40-hour workweek. Overtime is paid at an hourly rate. Free on-site parking is provided.
