This is a new post for a Specialist in Stroke Medicine to join us on the Isle of Wight. The right candidate will be enthusiastic and inspirational, supporting patients across the whole stroke pathway. This will include patients presenting at ED with stroke symptoms, HASU support, inpatient ward rounds, and TIA/Stroke Clinic. We work closely with our partners in Portsmouth, offering opportunities for shared learning and MDT working, and with Southampton for patients requiring transfer for mechanical thrombectomy. The trust has consistently maintained a high SSNAP score, especially in thrombolysis and diagnostics. Join us as we look to expand our HASU and redesign our Stroke Unit to improve patient experience.
This is a full-time position, but candidates wishing to work part-time or in a job-share are encouraged to apply. If a part-time or job-share appointment is made, the job plan will be discussed individually.
