Responsibilities you’ll have as the successful Associate Building Surveyor:
* Working on regional projects across different sectors, providing a range of building surveying duties.
* Applying standard forms of building contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
* Understanding principles of quality, safety, and environmental management in survey, design, and project management.
* Line management, mentoring, and training Junior Building Surveying staff.
* Supporting senior managers in daily activities.
* Carrying out surveys, inspections, and managing regional schemes.
Requirements of the successful Associate Building Surveyor:
* A B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited degree.
* Chartered status is preferred.
* Strong technical surveying knowledge and experience.
* Experience managing clients with a commercial mindset.
* Ability to draft technical documents like asset reviews, feasibility studies, and specifications.
* Understanding of Health and Safety and statutory compliance.
* Excellent time management, punctuality, and dedication.
* Ability to contribute positively to team and client relationships.
