Our client, a prominent company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and organised Stores Person to join their team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing and maintaining inventory levels to ensure efficient production processes
Receiving, handling, and storing incoming materials and products
Ensuring accurate documentation and inventory records are kept up-to-date
Collaborating with different departments to fulfil material and product requests
Conducting regular stock takes and auditing inventory for discrepancies
Maintaining a clean and organised store area in compliance with safety standards
Operating forklifts and other equipment as necessary
Assisting in the preparation and dispatch of outgoing goods
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in stores management within a manufacturing environment
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to inventory management
Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with different departments
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills
