Join our wonderful team in our lovely colourful and quirky environment, serving customers food and drinks with a smile We are looking for team members during the week working including short and long day shifts. Weekday and weekend availability is important.
Applicants will need to have previous training and experience as a Barista ideally in cafes or restaurants. The ability to learn and work as a team member in a small cafe environment in a responsible way is important.
All the usual applies including paying close attention to food safety, hygiene and making sure everything runs smoothly. You will be asked to support food preparation such as baguettes and salads, making drinks like our Glorious Hot Chocolates and Chai Latte.
Our customers are extra special and we love to give them great tasting food and drink and a lovely space to sit and think or chat with friends and family. If you can help us keep making this happen, get in touch. Informal conversations welcomed.
We are looking for someone with availability now. Some advanced scheduled time off can be arranged with sufficient notice.

* What type of hours are you looking for and what is your general availability for weekends and weekdays? Please note that we do not offer evening hours on a regular basis and be specific about days if you are not generally available.
* Please rate your barista skills from 0 (not at all skilled) to 10 (great skills and totally up-to-date). This is less about the latte art, more about great tasting coffee using a commercial espresso machine and coffee grinders in all their glory. There will be a test as part of recruitment.
* Do you have experience preparing food like toasties and sandwiches or waffles?
* What do you define as Barista skills and how would you describe your own barista skills? Please provide examples.
