We are looking to expand our team for the Easter holidays, with continued opportunities through the summer season.
This is a fun and rewarding outdoor role, but it comes with responsibility and physical demands. You will work at heights on our 30m tower and operate in all weather conditions, including rain, wind, and sun. It is essential that you are comfortable outdoors and physically active. Safety and customer experience are our top priorities.
Availability across weekends, bank holidays, half terms and school holidays is essential.
Full training provided, no previous experience required.
ROLE – ZIPWIRE ACTIVITY INSTRUCTOR
As the The Brighton Zipwire activity instructor you will:
* Fitting customers with harnesses and safety equipment
* Completing thorough daily and ongoing safety checks of all equipment
* Reporting any equipment or operational concerns immediately
* Ensuring strict adherence to all health and safety protocols
* Supervising customers throughout the full zipwire experience
* Delivering clear, confident safety briefings to individuals and large groups
* Supporting nervous or anxious participants with reassurance and encouragement
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and site presentation
* Contributing to smooth daily operations in all weather conditions
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Confident working at heights (30m tower)
* Physically fit; role involves lifting equipment, climbing stairs, and being active for extended periods
* Strong communication and public speaking skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Calm, encouraging, and empathetic with nervous customers
* Positive, outgoing personality in all weather conditions
* Experience in the outdoor sector is favourable but not required
* Hands-on, lead-from-the-front attitude
* Willing to develop a strong understanding of our equipment and procedures once trained
We are looking to increase our staff team for the Easter holidays and then moving into the summer period.
Interviews will be held on Friday 27 February and Friday 6 March at 12pm.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £10.80-£12.30 per hour
