Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool who are seeking a dedicated and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Reception team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our youngest learners at a crucial stage of their development.
About the Role
Working closely with the class teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning within a Reception classroom. You will help create a stimulating, safe, and engaging environment where children can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum within a Reception setting
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities
* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
* Help to monitor progress and contribute to observations and assessments
* Promote positive behaviour and support children’s wellbeing
* Contribute to maintaining an organised, purposeful learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience working within a classroom environment (desirable)
* Demonstrate a good understanding of the EYFS framework
* Be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting young learners
* Work effectively as part of a team and show initiative
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be passionate about making a positive difference in early education
