Business in Bristol requires a Finance Business Partner on a hybrid working basis Your new company Business based in Bristol Your new role In this newly created role as a Finance Business Partner your role will cover:Strategic Financial Oversight Lead financial planning and analysis across business units. Oversee statutory and management reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Guide budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic goals. Business Partnering Collaborate with operational leaders to drive performance and profitability. Advise on financial implications of business decisions, investments, and cost-saving initiatives. Support cross-functional teams with insights into cost structures, pricing, and margin optimisation. Governance and Compliance Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit requirements. Manage transfer pricing and intercompany transactions across global entities. Monitor tax and regulatory changes that impact financial reporting. Leadership and Influence Mentor finance staff and build high-performing teams. Represent finance in executive discussions, shaping strategic direction. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes. What you'll need to succeed Experience in: Financial analysis & modelling: Ability to interpret data, build forecasts, and assess business performance. Budgeting & forecasting: Skilled in planning cycles and variance analysis. Commercial acumen: Understand how financial decisions impact operations, sales, and strategy. Accounting principles:Solid grasp of IFRS, GAAP, and internal controls. Problem-solving mindset: Can identify root causes and propose actionable solutions. Data-driven decision making: Use insights to influence business direction. Scenario planning: Evaluate risks and opportunities across multiple outcomes. Part Qualified in ACCA/CIMA.
