Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
11. Diagnosing vehicle issues accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment
12. Carrying out routine servicing, repairs to a high standard
13. Inspecting vehicles to identify necessary repairs or replacements
14. Ensuring all work is completed within specified timeframes
15. Maintaining detailed service and repair records
16. Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times
17. Communicating effectively with customers regarding vehicle repairs and estimated timescales
18. Ensuring the workshop is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
19. Proven experience as a Technician or similar role within the motor trade
20. Full UK driving licence
21. Strong diagnostic skills and technical knowledge
22. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
23. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
24. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
25. Knowledge of current repair industry practices and health & safety standards
26. Reliable and professional attitude
