Fire Service Site Engineer

Location: Site based at a large hospital in Brighton
Salary: Opportunity to earn in excess of £40,000 (base and overtime)
Working hours: Monday – Friday 8‑4 (flexibility required for some out of hours project work)

What You Will Do
* Conduct routine inspections of fire safety systems (alarms and emergency lighting) to relevant British Standards, while adhering to health & safety requirements.
* Perform maintenance and repairs; plan your own day across multiple site locations.
* Provide technical advice to customers on fire safety best practices and assist them with compliance to fire safety regulations.
What We Look For
* Technical/industry knowledge – competence in working on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting (BS 7671 – Section 18). Experience in line test and inspection.
* Analytical and problem‑solving skills – assess risks and propose practical solutions.
* Communication and interpersonal skills – effective communication with stakeholders, customers and teamwork.
* Adaptability – handle dynamic situations and changing regulations.
* Full current UK driving licence.
