We are actively looking for an Income Officer to join a housing association in the Surrey area on a temporary contract, in return you will receive Hybrid working and Flexible Working Hours
As the Income Officer:
1. You will be managing a Patch in Surrey.
2. Ensure tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities
3. Responsible for achieving and maintaining the lowest possible levels of current rent and former tenancy arrears
4. Maximise income recovery and meet arrears targets
5. Producing arrears reports and letters
6. Communicating with residents and drafting instructions for legal possession proceedings
7. Serving Notices
8. Home visits
9. Applying for direct payments
10. Attending court where required
The successful Income Officer will have:
11. Working in a similar role
12. Advising, guiding, complaint handling and problem solving
13. Current housing legislation and welfare benefits knowledge
14. Motivational and leadership skills to enthuse customers to build thriving communities
