Based within the Midlands and working with a UK client bank from diverse backgrounds, you will be involved in Corporate Finance Lead Advisory, including valuations, sale & buy mandates, due diligence, company valuations, and fundraising projects (debt/equity and mezzanine).
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the execution of M&A transactions and leading deals, including negotiating key aspects and reviewing legal documentation.
* Producing company valuations.
* Drafting and reviewing client marketing materials, including Information Memorandums and management presentations.
* Conducting financial analysis and detailed financial modelling.
* Attending client meetings and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables within deadlines.
* Preparing and presenting pitches for clients, investors, and the broader investment community.
* Researching companies and industries for transaction origination and execution, including buyer and target research.
* Supporting all aspects of deal progression through project management.
* Developing sector expertise and maintaining client relationships within these sectors.
* Coaching junior team members to enhance their learning and potential.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
* Experience leading and executing corporate finance transactions.
* ACCA/ACA qualified accountant.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively with team members.
* High-quality document production skills.
* Comfort with a less structured working environment.
* Proficiency in preparing detailed financial projections and developing Excel-based models from scratch.
* Ability to multitask, work autonomously, and demonstrate proactivity.
* Effective interaction with clients and colleagues across workstreams.
