About the Role
Are you passionate about creating a safe and healthy work environment? We're on the lookout for an Environment, Health & Safety Advisor to join our Müller Yogurt & Desserts business unit in Telford. In this hands-on advisory role, you'll collaborate closely with operational teams and site leadership to implement Müller's EHS strategy. Your mission? To ensure compliance, foster continuous improvement, and cultivate a positive safety culture across our site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the deployment of the Environment, Health & Safety strategy, objectives, and targets at the site level.
* Provide proactive EHS advice to managers and teams on a wide range of health, safety, and environmental topics.
* Monitor the effectiveness of EHS management systems and controls in the workplace.
* Identify, challenge, and escalate poor EHS practices while promoting best practices.
* Assist with incident reporting, data capture, and EHS performance monitoring.
* Communicate EHS performance and risks clearly to key stakeholders.
* Promote a visible, credible, and positive EHS culture across the site.
* Support EHS administration duties and work effectively to tight deadlines.
What We're Looking For
* A recognized Level 3 EHS qualification (QCF/NQF or equivalent) or higher.
* A willingness to work towards a Level 5 EHS qualification if not already held.
* Experience applying health, safety, and environmental knowledge in a practical, operational environment.
* Strong working knowledge of EHS management systems and controls.
* Confidence in advising stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, pragmatic approach.
Desirable Qualifications
* Membership (or working towards membership) of a professional EHS body (e.g., IOSH, IEMA) with active CPD.
* Experience within manufacturing, food, FMCG, or regulated environments.
* Strong data capture, reporting, and analytical skills.
