CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Stroud – Days - Contract – Fulltime – Salary up to £16.85ph - Highly experienced candidates – salary considered.
My clients Is looking for a skilled CNC miller that can set and operate CNC machines in a production environment, ensuring the top quality within given timescale.
The role:
• Set and operate CNC machines using set up sheets, selecting tooling.
• Self-inspect, including quality, cleaning, and de-burring.
• Confidently interpret technical specifications and drawings
• Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.
• Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.
The Person:
• Motivated, highly organised Machinist.
• Experience working with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controlled CNC Machinery (4 years)
• Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including verniers, callipers.
• Experience in production machining environment.
• Computer literate, good numeracy, and literacy skills.
• Create and edit Machining programs – Desirable
• Aerospace AS9100 experience – Desirable
