Vacancy: Water Hygiene Technician Location: South Wales Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week Are you a hands-on person with an appetite to succeed? Join our dedicated team as a Water Hygiene Technician, where you'll play a vital role in protecting public health by supporting our clients with their water safety compliance. Your Key Responsibilities - Conduct routine monitoring inspections, including: Temperature testing of water outlets Inspection of TMVs, cold water tanks, and hot water storage vessels Showerhead cleaning and disinfection Water sampling Logbook auditing using PDA and digital reporting systems Carry out Legionella control duties in line with ACoP L8 & HSG274 - Assist with maintenance and remedial tasks as required. - Work across multiple sites — travel within the region is essential. - Ensure all tasks are completed accurately, safely, and to a high standard. What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach Confident working independently after training Full UK driving licence (essential) Satisfactory DBS check Previous experience in water hygiene or building services is a bonus, but full training will be provided for the right candidate What’s in It for You?
