Overview
UTC Clinical Lead position with the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), co-located with the Emergency Department at Colchester Hospital. Requires experience in Primary and Secondary care, ideally within Emergency Department or Urgent and Emergency Care, with experience in managing illness and injury in Adults and Children. Collaborative role supporting Paramedics, Nurse Practitioners, ACPs, Nurses, and HCAs.
Responsibilities
* Operate within the shared vision and values of the Division and work collaboratively across and outside of the Trust as appropriate.
* Support the development of, and operate within, frameworks and policies as agreed by the Trust.
* Work as part of the Clinical Delivery Group (CDG), liaising with Clinical Directors, Service Managers and Matrons, providing leadership and advice across the CDG to contribute to national and local objectives.
* Ensure the speciality team agrees, collects and reviews information to measure clinical performance and establish meaningful benchmarks.
* Establish, review and maintain robust processes for evaluating service quality, explaining successes and failures, and upholding high standards.
* Assist the Clinical Director and Divisional Director to ensure service and workforce configurations support new models of care.
* Collaborate with local health-care providers across East Suffolk and North Essex to ensure optimal patient care.
* Ensure effective two-way communication with all medical and other staff within the area.
