About the role
In your role as Procurement Coordinator you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset. This role will provide a great opportunity to provide support to the Procurement department – providing functional assistance to the Head of Procurement and Category Managers in delivery of the end-to-end procurement cycle.
What you will be doing
As a trusted part of the Finance you will be responsible for:
1. Provide support to assist in the delivery of the end-to-end procurement cycle, ensuring processes comply with internal policies and relevant legislation
2. Managed and maintain processes to ensure workflows, risks and all relevant data is captured, and ensure that contracts and documents are uploaded
3. Compile data for use in management reports across all aspects of supplier performance
4. Review and suggest improvements to Procurement processes and Policies, update where necessary
5. Liaise effectively with all stakeholders to ensure key updates are shared in a timely manner
6. Run, update and maintain daily and weekly reports to be shared with internal stakeholders
7. Ensure compliance with company guidelines by adoption of best in class procurement practices
8. Provide support where required within the procurement process, including contract amendment documents and other templates
9. Work as an ambassador for procurement within the wider organisation

To be successful in the role you will have:
10. An experienced support assistant, ideally with exposure to the procurement cycle
11. Highly organised, methodical and analytical. Able to prioritise work and deliver to deadlines
12. Strong interpersonal skills able to adapt to engage with colleagues and suppliers
13. Experienced user of technology – in particular Microsoft Officer 365
14. Must be a positive team player but also have the ability to work autonomously
15. Solid communication skills – both written and verbal
16. Takes initiative and has ownership of situations, with a strong level of personal resilience
17. Strong attention to detail and completes tasks with a high level of accuracy
