Due to ongoing growth we are looking for a Renewable Energy Domain Enterprise Architect to be based in our Natural Power Offices based in Glasgow. Purpose of Role The Domain Enterprise Architect leader is the digital technology team interface into a domain of businesses providing the bridge between the business needs and technology provision. The domain technology leader is responsible for the technology platforms and solutions for the renewable energy business domain. They manage enterprise architecture, road map and change for a domain of businesses working with the Head of Delivery to define and implement change programs and product owners to maintain road maps in line with business strategy and value based priority. Responsibilities Strategy and Road Mapping Define and execute the application strategy and roadmap for the business domain contributing to the overall strategy and ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational priorities. Work closely with business teams to translate business objectives and change plans into a cohesive and integrated technology roadmap. Establish and maintain an enterprise view of the technology landscape, key business platforms and solutions. Work with Product Owners to oversee alignment of product and domain road maps. Delivery Technology Leadership Lead domain level cross-functional planning and ensure delivery teams are focused on the highest-value initiatives. Assess the impact of business needs and change on the technology landscape and partner with Delivery leadership to size, cost and plan implementation projects/programmes. Facilitate key discussions, workshops, and decision-making sessions with business and technology leaders to ensure alignment on priorities and trade-offs. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and data leaders to ensure solution design, integration, and platform evolution align with enterprise architecture and data strategy. Provide technology leadership to change programmes assuring the success of the overall technology solution, guiding solution architects and advising business leaders. Technology Governance Lead technology governance enabling reuse through technology standards, patterns and best practices and providing solution assurance. Identify and manage technology risks within domains technology and risks related to technology change. Innovation Identify opportunities to increase domain business value through innovative technology and solutions Internal and External Relationships: Be the digital technology team interface into a domain of businesses providing the bridge between the business needs and technology provision. Provide technology leadership, advisory and guidance to business leads. Manage and influence business stakeholders at Head of and Director level. Build relationships with key suppliers to enable successful partnerships. Represent Fred Olsen Digital at industry events and digital forums. Other duties: The post-holder will be required to undertake such duties as may reasonably be expected. Specialist Knowledge and Skills: Significant experience leading application strategy within enterprise environments. Experience of digital technology within the Renewable Energy sector. Experience of enterprise application architecture, principles and patterns. Experience of at least 1 enterprise architecture method/framework (eg. TOGAF, ZACHMAN) Extensive stakeholder management experience at Head of and Director level.
