Role Overview
As Head of Advisory, you will lead a team of two pre‑sales professionals (Advisors) and act as a strategic partner to our global sales organization. Reporting to the VP Revenue Operations, your mission is to empower prospects throughout their buying journey by delivering expert guidance on technology and employee benefits strategies. This role combines leadership, process development, and hands‑on involvement in complex enterprise opportunities, ensuring Benifex remains a trusted advisor in the market. Approximately 70–80% of the role focuses on opportunity support, while 20–30% is dedicated to strategy and leadership.
Responsibilities
* Define and execute the vision, strategy, and priorities for the Advisory (Pre‑Sales) team in alignment with business objectives.
* Lead, coach, and develop a multinational team of pre‑sales professionals (currently two team members: one in Sweden and one in the UK), fostering collaboration and high performance.
* Establish and continuously improve processes, tools, and best practices for pre‑sales engagement.
* Act as a strategic partner to Sales, supporting complex international opportunities with tailored solutions and proposals.
* Deliver compelling product demonstrations and guide solution design to showcase Benifex’s platform capabilities.
* Advise on technical aspects such as integrations, APIs, data flows, and security considerations.
* Provide strategic consulting on employee benefits programs to help customers design impactful solutions.
* Support RFI/RFP responses and contribute to pricing and contract negotiations.
* Drive thought leadership initiatives through webinars, whitepapers, and industry events.
What are we looking for?
* Ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams (leadership experience is a plus but not a strict requirement).
* Deep understanding of employee benefits strategies, regulations, and market trends.
* Strong technical acumen, including experience with APIs, integrations, and SaaS solutions.
* Track record of supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and influencing strategic decisions.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
* Strategic thinker with a consultative approach and strong commercial acumen.
* Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
Bonus points for
* Experience in pre‑sales, solution consulting, or advisory roles within SaaS or employee benefits technology.
* Previous leadership experience in setting team strategy and driving performance.
