Job Description:
Project Kuiper aims to expand global broadband access via a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its goal is to deliver fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide, bridging the digital divide for consumers, businesses, government agencies, and organizations in areas lacking reliable connectivity.
The team seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager with comprehensive system integration experience covering satellite, cellular, ground systems, and customer terminals for enterprise managed network services. The role involves collaborating with engineering, program/product management, business development, and enterprise customers to conduct on-site testing, technical onboarding, and acceptance testing for Kuiper enterprise preview customers. This role may require access to controlled information, technology, or hardware subject to export laws such as EAR and ITAR. Employment depends on obtaining necessary export licenses or approvals from US authorities, contingent upon the candidate's eligibility based on nationality, citizenship, and other factors.
Key job responsibilities
* Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business development to plan and execute technical onboarding and acceptance testing for Kuiper Satellite Services for enterprise and government clients.
* Define system integration and acceptance processes for Kuiper Enterprise Preview customers across telco backhaul, industrial IoT, corporate enterprise, and government sectors.
* Coordinate with Kuiper engineering, AWS, partners, and customer IT teams to ensure testing and validation meet schedule and quality standards.
* Work with architecture, hardware, and software teams to identify and track deliverables.
* Develop best practices, tools, and mechanisms for scalable system integration and deployment documentation and automation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience in technical product or program management
* Experience working directly with engineering teams
* Experience managing cross-functional programs and coordinating releases
* Experience in architectural or system design
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Hands-on management of complex technology projects
* Experience with enterprise or government system integration and wireless service delivery
* Knowledge of cloud-native applications on AWS
* Deep understanding of telco backhaul and RF technology
* Experience with device networking protocols and wireless technologies
* Understanding of managed network services for enterprise and government sectors
