Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Redditch
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a busy manufacturing team based in Redditch. This is a great opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience within an engineering or production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards
- Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections
- Using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identifying and reporting defects or non-conformities
- Completing quality documentation and inspection reports
- Working closely with production teams to maintain quality standards
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a quality inspection role (manufacturing/engineering preferred)
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Experience using measuring tools (e.g. verniers, micrometers)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for recording data
Desirable Skills
- Experience within metal or springs manufacturing
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection processes
- Previous experience completing inspection reports
