Welcome to River Beach Primary School. We are a good school (OFSTED 2025) that is incredibly proud of our school and the children in it. We pride ourselves on the strong relationships that we create with children, parents and our wider community.

River Beach is a large primary school of 670 children, with a 3 form intake and a nursery. We are based in a unique position in Littlehampton being within easy access of both the River Arun and the English Channel. We are part of the Schoolsworks Academy Trust as well as working with Littlehampton locality group of schools, sharing in collaborative learning developments across the area.

Contract: Permanent, Term time plus 2 inset days
Hours: 30 hours per week, 8.45am until 3.30pm, Monday - Friday (38.4 weeks plus 5.8 weeks paid annual leave entitlement)
Salary: NJC Grade 4, SCP 5-6, £25,583 to £25,989 p.a. pro rata
Actual starting salary - £17,631.53 p.a.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced office administrator to join our administration team. This is a superb opportunity to be part of a school within a growing trust. You will have the opportunity to develop professionally and this offers the chance to become part of a successful and developing team. You will need a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills.

What You Need to Succeed
The successful candidate will:-
* Work as an active member of the Administration Team, to provide administrative support services to the school to ensure the efficient operation of the school.
* Be responsible for the school administration of pupil activity and data.
* Provide a welcoming "front of house" reception service to parents and other visitors to the school.
* Provide day to day welfare, medical and first aid services to the school.
Applicants must be PC literate and have excellent office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Google. Have the ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure in a very busy environment.
Full training will be given but previous experience of working in a school office environment would also be advantageous.
