Job Description: Job Summary To deliver an industry leading and fully compliant Clinical Homecare Pharmacy Service to Patients, Trusts and the Pharmaceutical industry through regulatory compliance, clinical governance, people management and operational excellence. Location: - Site 1 Pharmacy, Polar Speed UPS, 8 Chartmoor Road, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 4WG Working Schedule: Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week Responsibilities: Line manage the Pharmacy Administration Team Leaders, Dispensary Team Leaders and Pharmacists at the Site 1 Pharmacy. Exhibit exemplary leadership, ensuring the highest standards of service to Patients, NHS Customers and other internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrate commercial acumen and financial governance to ensure the Pharmacy is operating within budget. Develop robust people plans and workforce planning to match resource to workload and ensure that prescription administration and dispensing workload is completed within required timelines. Lead the Pharmacy team in line with business policies and HR rules and requirements. Ensure all Pharmacy staff have read and are fully compliant with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Qualifications: Degree level Pharmacy qualification GPhC Registration as a Responsible Pharmacist Pharmacy, Medicines, and other regulations that impact Pharmacy regulations Good distribution practice, Pharmacovigilance requirements and the Homecare industry commercial environment Ability to motivate and manage staff, especially under pressure Demonstrates flexibility, diplomacy and facilitation skills Ability to manage customer relationships resulting in high levels of customer satisfaction Excellent people skills, a team builder and influencer, effective communicator with remarkable attention to detail and excellent analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Experience of leading a large team of people Total flexibility to working hours to suit the needs of the business which may be of an urgent medical nature Employee Type: Permanent UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
