We are seeking a Team Leader to join our team at our Abernethy site in Perthshire. The successful candidate will take responsibility for operating our Celox equipment and leading the sizing team during their shift. At Branston, potatoes are at the heart of what we do. We supply both fresh and prepared products to some of the UK’s leading retailers. Based at our Fresh site, you will work closely with the Sizing & Intake Team Leader to support the effective organisation and management of our Sizing operations, ensuring output is maximised and internal customer requirements are consistently met. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Leadership – Provide clear and consistent leadership role modelling Branston’s values at all times. * Planning – Organise and manage daily sizing operations to maximise crop yield, efficiency, and equipment uptime. * Health & Safety – Lead by example in promoting a strong health and safety culture, ensuring all team members follow safe working practices and taking action where standards are not met. * Compliance – Ensure the team adheres to standard operating procedures and that the working area meets GMP audit standards. About You * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role * Previous experience within a food manufacturing environment (desirable not essential) * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Flexible and adaptable approach to work * Ability to motivate others and drive continuous improvement What We Offer At Branston, we recognise that our people are key to our success, and we regularly review our benefits package.
