Care Assistant
Location: Broad Oak Manor Care Home, Arnolds Lane, Sutton-at-Hone, Dartford, Kent DA4 9HF
Contract: Permanent - Part Time
Hours: 22 hours per week, covering days
Salary: £13.10 – £14.10 per hour depending on experience

Broad Oak Manor is a beautiful Edwardian manor house set within a peaceful village, providing residential, nursing and short stay care, including palliative and convalescence care. The home is CQC registered to provide care for residents over and under 65 years. It is close to the busy M25 and A2.
Residents enjoy a range of activities such as salon services, quiet lounge time, group and individual social and recreational activities, floristry, movie nights and arts and crafts, available seven days a week for all mobility levels.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
* Observe and manage residents’ behaviour with care and document and report any changes in accordance with required legislation.
* Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
* Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
* Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
What We’re Looking For
* Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Desirable: Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
