Health Care Support Worker, Older People & Stroke role description varies by unit. The NHSGGC Healthcare Support Worker carries out direct patient care in support of and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Applicants must have a caring disposition and the ability to work with others as part of a multidisciplinary team. Good verbal and written communication skills and literacy and numeracy skills are essential. Applicants must have the ability to fulfil the requirements of the Band 2 job description including undertaking practice development programmes.
