Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Hours: 40 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As Community Steward for Northamptonshire highways, you'll be working within the Customer Services team, supporting them with customer queries regarding highways maintenance (potholes, road markings, drainage issues, etc.) reported via our online public reporting system.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Responding to enquiries received from third parties and providing clear details on the actions to be taken, resolving faults reported by customers, and engaging with local communities and local Councils.
* General site supervision duties, completing daily and weekly record returns, with a need to be involved in out-of-hours activities and be flexible in shift patterns, working hours, overnights, etc.
* Liaising with works gangs, the customer team, Parish Council representatives, the local authority, Kier managers, community engineers, and members of the community.
* Inspecting reactive maintenance reports from Street Doctor (public enquiries), taking action, ensuring close-out and feedback to the community in line with KPIs, and ensuring the effective use and management of the Kier Manager system within the team.
* Health and Safety compliance, including all associated paperwork, completing minor repairs, and/or making safe.
