Our client is a business based in Stoke on Trent, due to their success, they are expanding and seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their small accounts team. This role will be supporting the Financial Controller and managing day to day accounts functions such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and bank reconciliations. The role does have develop to grow skills and experience.
Job Description for the Finance Assistant role:
Supporting the Financial Controller with the day to day transactional duties within Purchase ledger and Sales ledger
Investigating discrepancies
Bank Reconciliations
Enter information onto excel spreadsheets and producing reports
General support in other areas of finance – general all round activities
Dealing with stock sheets, entering information and reporting For the Finance Assistant role, it would be good to see candidates with the following :
Experience of using an accountancy software package
Proven experience within an accounts function
Ideally AAT qualified
A strong team player
Someone with a flexible approach
Good skills in excel and MS packages
High attention to detail Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Salary: up to £30,000 Per Annum + Company Bonus
