Electrical Estimator Key Responsibilities Tender Management: Lead the preparation, technical validation, and timely submission of electrical tenders.
Technical Analysis: Interpret customer specifications and requirements, identifying cost variations and requesting concessions where necessary.
Client Engagement: Attend site visits, client briefings, and pre-order meetings to secure contracts and ensure a seamless handover to Project Managers.
Supply Chain Collaboration: Develop and maintain key relationships with the supply chain, customers, and specifiers to ensure competitive and accurate quotations.
Project Oversight: Maintain electrical specification confirmations for all contracts, accurately costing for up-charges.
Electrical Estimator Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an Electrical Estimator or an Electrical Engineer in an estimating capacity, preferably within a general contractor environment.
Sector Expertise: Proven track record in Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Power Generation, or Oil & Gas industries.
Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel regularly between Ireland and the UK is an essential requirement for this role.
Technical Skills: Advanced analytical and mathematical abilities with strong IT literacy.
Attributes: Highly accurate, able to work independently, and comfortable delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
