We are seeking experienced Care Team Leaders to join our team in Kingsmills Care Home for Full & Part-time posts, Day Shift & Night Shift.
Your main responsibilities as a Care Team Leader within one of our homes are to contribute to the personal needs of each individual resident, writing and updating their Care Plans and ensuring they retain their dignity, choice and individuality. You will supervise care staff and monitor the care given to our residents ensuring we are promoting a friendly, caring and safe environment. You will help to induct new care staff in the home, conducting training and supervising colleagues and junior members off staff in all aspects of their work in the Home.
To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of an SVQ 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care. Medication administration training would be preferred as well as at least one year's experience working in a care setting in a similar role. You will be aware of, and adhere to, the SSSC Codes of Practice and, preferably, be registered with the SSSC.
