SEN Tutor Needed in Oxfordshire
Salary: £25 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
As an SEN Tutor, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored educational support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This includes creating individualised learning plans, delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, and adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles. You will work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure the academic and personal development of each student.
Required Qualifications:
* A recognised teaching qualification
* Experience working with students with SEN
* Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
A degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Understanding of different learning styles and strategies
* Ability to create and implement individualised education plans
* Strong classroom management skills
* Proficiency in using assistive technology
Preferred Qualifications:
* Specialist qualification in SEN teaching
* Experience working in a variety of educational settings
Working Conditions:
This role is part-time and temporary, with flexible hours based on student needs. You will primarily work in educational institutions or in a student's home environment. Travel may be required to different locations within Oxfordshire.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
