GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Rotherham (S65). This role is ideal for someone who can encourage students to explore and understand diverse religions, cultures, and ethical perspectives while developing critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities of the RE Teacher:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging RE lessons across Key Stages.
* Encourage students to develop respect and understanding of different faiths and values.
* Track student progress and provide regular feedback to support learning outcomes.
* Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and open discussions.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the RE curriculum.
Requirements for the RE Teacher role:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and challenge students.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
