The role
As a Senior Business Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a vital part in supporting the smooth, compliant and efficient running of our MoD Apprenticeships contract. This is an exciting opportunity to lead administrative activity that directly contributes to operational performance, high quality learner journeys and the successful delivery of an important national programme. Day to day you’ll be required to:
* Lead and coordinate daily administrative activities while supervising staff and ensuring tasks are completed accurately
* Maintain learner files, funding paperwork and audit ready documentation in line with internal and DfE requirements
* Manage data entry and reporting through systems such as Maytas and SharePoint with accuracy and timeliness
* Oversee office facilities, manage information requests and support the identification and mitigation of risks
* Build strong working relationships across delivery, quality, compliance and assurance teams to support smooth contract operations
The role is based onsite at MOD Lyneham, and the set working times are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 1pm, totalling 37 hours per week.
Essential experience of the Senior Business Support Administrator:
* Proven experience in a senior business administration role or environment
* Confident user of MS Excel, Word and Outlook
Qualifications for the Senior Business Support Administrator:
* Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above or grade 4–9 (or equivalent) or Functional Skills English and Maths Level 2
