We are recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist setting supporting pupils with Generic Learning Difficulties (GLD). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in education.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including GLD.
2. Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans and interventions.
3. Implement strategies to support behaviour and emotional regulation.
4. Promote independence and inclusion in the classroom.
5. Support with personal care where required.
Essential Skills & Experience
6. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a SEN support role.
7. Knowledge of SEN, including Generic Learning Difficulties, Autism, and Speech & Language needs.
8. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
9. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
10. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
