*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator/installer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting various steel products. *Responsibilities*
* Perform MIG welding and other welding processes on various materials, including sheet metal and structural components
* Fabricate parts according to technical drawings, specifications, and work orders
* Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
* Fit fabricated items to farm buildings and commercial/residential properties
* Conduct inspections of completed welds and fabricated parts for quality assurance
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
* Assist in the assembly of finished products as required
* Read technical drawings and interpret measurements for precise fabrication
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong understanding of standard practice
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
* Knowledge of sheet metal work and basic mechanical principles
* Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic math calculations for measurements
* Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes
* Experience working with various materials including steel, aluminium, or other metals
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
