You will be responsible
* I bring Tesco's performance approach to life, ensuring it is clear, consistent and works well for colleagues and leaders at every level.
* I lead the end to end Performance Cycle, owning how it is designed, timed and delivered so performance activities are meaningful and drive the right behaviours.
* I own the Performance Cycle blueprint, setting out what good looks like for each stage of the cycle and providing simple tools and guidance to support high quality performance conversations.
* I bring future thinking and external insight on how performance management can best support a strong, inclusive high performance culture, continuously improving how performance is experienced at Tesco.
* I am the business lead for the Performance Management System, working with Technology to improve how the system supports performance today and how it needs to evolve in the future.
* I enable talent and partnering teams to deliver performance activity well, setting clear expectations and ensuring a consistent, high quality experience across markets and functions.
* I work closely with market talent teams to understand what matters most to their businesses, embedding the performance approach locally and improving it through ongoing feedback.
* I work closely with Capability, DE& I and Workforce Planning to ensure our performance approach is connected, practical and aligned to wider talent priorities.
You will need
* People/HR operational experience
* Performance management experience
* Stakeholder management and influencing experience
* Experience leading across cross functional and cross market initiatives
* Experience driving simplification and scalable process improvements
