The shift pattern for this position is 9am – 5pm.
This full-time role involves joining the Adult Learning Disability Team in Renfrewshire as a Speech and Language Therapist. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist Speech and Language Therapy services to clients with communication, eating, drinking, and swallowing difficulties in various settings. A high level of clinical skill, knowledge, and experience across diverse diagnoses is required.
Applicants must be registered Speech and Language Therapists with HCPC registration. Knowledge of learning disabilities is essential, and an interest in developing skills in a mental health inpatient setting is desirable, as there will be opportunities to support inpatient mental health services within Renfrewshire.
The candidate will be managed operationally by the Team Lead for Speech and Language Therapy, with links to the wider Learning Disability SLT team across NHSGG&C.
