Salary: Base salary of £30,000 plus Veolia Benefits Package
Location: Marchwood Energy Recovery Facility, Oceanic Way, Marchwood Industrial Park, Hampshire, SO40 4BD (Travel to other sites in Hampshire may be required)
Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday
Programme Duration: 2-year programme starting September 2026

What you'll be doing;
Maintain and expertly service plant equipment to ensure optimal functionality and diagnose issues with plant instrumentation systems
You will analyse the plant performance data to identify areas for improvement
You will conduct comprehensive desk studies to evaluate potential plant modifications
Develop and implement operational procedures and processes and support the transition to a paperless working environment
Lead cross-functional projects to drive successful plant operations and manage installation of new plant equipment and systems
Optimise existing plant items for enhanced performance and oversee replacement of outdated or faulty equipment
Ensure all operations meet safety and efficiency standardsWhat we're looking for;
Degree level qualification in an Engineering or Science discipline e.g. Process Engineering / Mechanical/Electrical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Control & Instrumentation Engineering, Physics or Chemistry (To be achieved by September 2026)
Willingness to travel to training locations and potentially (if in a rotational role) relocate for role requirements
Commitment to continuous learning and development
Excellent communication and written skills
Eager to learn and passionate
Creative problem-solving and a passion for trying new ideas
