We are currently recruiting for an experienced forklift driver to join our client, near Kilmarnock.
This is a long term, permanent role for a candidate who has a current, in date counterbalance licence and competent driving skills gained from experience in a similar environment.
Responsibilities / Duties
* Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas
* Transporting both boxes and pallets around yard.
* Booking in stock
* Checking stock coming into warehouse.
* Maintain orderly and clean work area in compliance with Company Health and Safety requirements.
* General warehouse duties, as required.
Experience / Skills
* Minimum 2 years driving experience
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Experience of using computer stock control systems would be advantage but is not essential.
The position requires an ability to work under minimal supervision along with a high level of motivation.
Weekly hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.45pm and Friday, 8am - 12.45pm.
